How to Style a Halter Neck Bodycon Dress

“How to Style a Halter Neck Bodycon Dress” is the first of three posts in collaboration with TOBI, who kindly gifted me this dress in exchange for the content I’m sharing. All views and imagery are entirely my own.

One of the most popular styles of dress right now is the bodycon dress. They come in lots of different colours and styles, and they’re perfect for any occasion. I chose to style this pink dress from TOBI, because it’s like nothing else I own. It has a gorgeous, cut-out back design, with lace up detailing at the back. Its thin, adjustable straps look great with the halter neck, and I love the beautiful rose colour and figure-hugging style.

The halter neck style means you can adjust the straps to fit you and your body, so the dress will fit you in the most flattering way. It was a little tricky at first to thread the elasticated straps through the small holes at the back of the dress, but I was able to do it after looking at the photo on the website. From there, it was quite easy to do!

I only had to thread the straps once, and I imagine this would be the same for similar styles. I was able (just about) to tie the straps up at the back, but you could, of course, get someone to help you if you’re not able to do it yourself.

When styling this bodycon dress, I completed the look with a pair of pink, peep-toe heels. You could also wear it with a pair of strappy heels, or whatever is most comfortable for you. Depending on the colour of your dress, you can style it with shoes that complement the whole outfit. Neutral colours go with most styles!
