Black is one of the easiest colours to wear, so I chose to style an all-black outfit, with neutral colour shoes. This black cropped jumper is so effortless and easy to wear with almost anything, but I decided to style it alongside some high-waisted, black skinny jeans, to keep with the black theme. I love how this cropped jumper looks with these high-waisted jeans, because the jumper falls at just the right length to meet with the top of the jeans, allowing you to show a tiny bit of skin, whilst still looking classy, but not swamped in a huge jumper. I did buy this jumper a size bigger than my normal size, for that slightly oversized and snuggly feel - which can be noticed more with the lengths of the sleeves.

I talk about these jeans a lot in my blog, and it's simply because they are my favourite pair of jeans that I own. Even after numerous washes, they still manage to hold their shape and enhance my figure. These high-waisted jeans can be dressed up or down, and they're amazing for their versatility. I dressed these jeans up a little with these nude heels, but they would also look great with a pair of trainers or flats. The only downside to these jeans is that they do tend to lose a lot of their colour after being washed, however, since shooting this post, I have actually re-dyed them black, and they look amazing - I'm sure you'll see how they look in future posts!

This outfit would look great with a pair of trainers or Converse, for a more sporty and casual look, but I thought I'd switch it up a bit and complete this look with a nude pair of Ted Baker heels. These heels are absolutely stunning, and the colour is perfect to wear with many different outfits. One of the main reasons I chose to pair these heels with this outfit was because I think they really elongate my legs, and they make the whole outfit look a little more chic. I also love the neutral colour and how well it looks against the rest of the all-black outfit.

Some of the items I'm wearing in this post are no longer available online, so I have linked the closest products I could find. These are marked with an asterisk. (*)

New York City is one of my favourite places I've ever been to, and I'm pretty much obsessed with anything and everything New York. I have a canvas above my bed of the NYC skyline, a cushion with a similar design, and, of course, a couple of NYC tops, to bring fashion into my collection. I knew I had to get this top as soon as I saw it, as it's unlike anything else I own. The NYC lettering on the front immediately stood out to me, as the black and white design is eye-catching and bold, and adds a real chic yet casual look to the top. One of my favourite things about this crop top is the detail on the back, with the quote "STATE OF MIND". Although it's only a small feature, it really adds a distinct sense of originality, because it sets this NYC design top apart from any others I've ever seen. This crop top would also look great with a pair of ripped jeans and Converse - still keeping it casual.

Leggings are most definitely a staple item in my wardrobe, as there are lots of different colours and styles to choose from, and they're completely versatile in the ways they can be worn and styled. There is a pair out there for everyone, and you cannot go wrong with a pair of basic black leggings. Nothing fancy, nothing over the top, just a decent pair of plain black leggings. Not only are they super easy to style, but they’re really comfortable to wear and move about in. Plus, if you’re like me and you like to eat a lot of food, they’re ideal for providing a little 'expansion' in places, if you catch my drift... These leggings are also great for their holding power and flattering style, without being too restrictive and tight. I would definitely recommend you get yourself a pair or two of these leggings. They're game changers.

I'm loving this black faux suede wrap choker.. Wow. It completely changes the outfit, and it looks lovely alongside the black and white look I was going for with this outfit. I was very kindly given this choker by Lamoda as part of a goody bag that I was given at the fabulous Blogging Gals event back in November. I've never owned a choker like this before, and I'm not gonna lie, I had to look up how to put it on... I didn't realise how many different ways you can style a choker like this, and I love its versatility and ability to be able to change the look of an outfit, simply by adjusting the way you tie it!

Bomber jackets are huge this time of year, and they are one of the easiest ways to change the look of an outfit, from simple to chic. This black bomber jacket is ideal to wear in the colder months, as it's perfect for keeping you warm (which has a lot to do with the fluffiness inside), but still looking stylish and on trend. This black jacket goes effortlessly with so many outfits, it's no wonder why it's one of my favourite bomber jackets that I own.

These Adidas Superstars have a minimal and simplistic design, but they also have an edgy touch to them, which is why I love them. They're really comfortable and can be worn with pretty much anything, whilst still looking insane. I paired these with some black leggings for a sporty and casual look, but these trainers would also look fantastic with a pair of skinny jeans or denim shorts - the options are endless.
