MONOCHROME...

Black and white are two colours that go together so seamlessly. As much as I love to add a bit of colour to my outfits, sometimes it's nice to keep it toned down with black and white. I love the simplicity of the two colours, which means that everything you decide to wear will match together so effortlessly. Monochrome is a great choice if you're looking to decide on a last minute outfit.

This white top would go with anything, but I've chosen to wear it with these faux leather black skorts, for an edgy, yet minimal look. The design of this top is really simple, but I like how the pocket on the front adds that extra bit of detail, without taking the attention away from the overall simplistic design.

Skorts are a great item for any wardrobe. You get that look of a skirt, with the comfort and secure feeling of the shorts. They can be dressed up or down, and paired with heels or flats - like these Converse I opted for. You get that versatility with a pair of skorts - perfect!

Being comfortable in what you wear is so important, and it doesn't just stop with clothes, but shoes as well. I love the comfort and style of a pair of Converse. You can't really go wrong with these shoes, plus they come in so many different styles and colours, you're pretty much guaranteed to find a pair that suit you.

I'm obsessed with mFiorelli bag. It goes so well with the colours in this outfit, and it's a really good bag for every day use, but also for an overnight/weekend bag. One of my favourite features is the long detachable strap, as it gives you that option of being able to wear it over your shoulder, for extra ease and comfort.

DRESSED IN BLACK...

Maxi dresses are one of the easiest, most comfortable outfits to wear, and with there being so many gorgeous designs and styles to choose from, it's safe to say that my collection is definitely starting to grow...

I'm pretty much obsessed with Boohoo at the moment. Their clothes are such great value for money, and they're so flattering and easy to style. When I saw this maxi dress on their website, I just had to get it. I took it on holiday with me to Turkey last September, and it was the most perfect dress to wear for an evening meal by the beach. Even though it's a tight-fitting dress, it's really light and airy, even for a hot evening in Turkey - I think the split-side design helped with that!

You can wear a maxi dress with flats or heels, and dress it up or down, depending on the occasion. In this post, I decided to dress it up with a pair of my favourite lace-up heels. You can't really go wrong with a black dress and black heels. It's pretty much a staple outfit.

I found this black cross-body bag in my wardrobe, and I know what you're thinking.. "What on earth could you fit in there?!" Well, I wore this bag for a night out over the weekend, and I can say that it is actually great for holding all of my necessities. It's definitely not the type of bag you'd use for a weekend away, but for an evening out, it's ideal. I mean, it stops me from taking more out with me than I actually need.. We've all been there.

MINT AND BLACK...

I've had this daisy lace crop top in my wardrobe for about two years now, and I think I've only worn it once... When I found it at the bottom of a drawer, I literally had to ask myself why I haven't worn it more - it's so pretty!

The mint green colour is so subtle, but it can really brighten up an outfit, like how I've worn it alongside black jeans and black heels. I also love the careful detail in this top. It's the little details that really stand out! The daisy effect reminds me of spring and summer, when the beautiful flowers are out, which makes this crop top perfect for warm days out in the sunshine.

I practically live in these jeans... They're so comfortable and easy to wear, plus they can be styled in so many different ways - they're a great buy. These high-waisted jeans go so well with crop tops, and the two worn together can really flatter your figure.

Black heels are pretty much a staple item in any wardrobe. These heels are not too high and uncomfortable, but they are the perfect height to really complement your legs and overall figure, and also enhance your posture.

BLUE IN BOOHOO...

I'm loving co-ord sets at the moment, and this one from Boohoo is certainly one of my favourites. The colour is so striking, yet easy on the eye - plus it's my favourite colour!

Co-ord sets make such great outfits for evening meals and nights out, as they're so quick and easy to piece together with a pair of heels and a clutch bag. Another brilliant thing about these sets is that you're not just limited to one look - you can dress up or down by styling the top/skirt with other pieces of clothing you already own, allowing you to create various different looks, for less!

Other than the colour, one of my favourite parts about this outfit is the side-split in the skirt. It adds a touch of elegance, and gives it that summer feel.

I decided to go for a baby pink envelope clutch bag to complete this outfit, because I love how the blue and pink colours together really complement one another, whilst keeping it classy with these black lace-up heels.

CORAL VIBES...

There's something about a pop of colour that can really make a difference to an outfit, and, as much as I love wearing neutral shades, I'm definitely someone who loves to wear bright colours! A lot of my inspiration comes from colour, as it's something that really sparks my imagination to become more creative, and it can really uplift my overall mood.

This asymmetric skirt goes so well with a crop top and a pair of lace-up heels, for that simple, yet perfect, night out look. As the skirt is white, I thought I'd add a shade of colour with a beautiful, coral crop top, to make this outfit really stand out, and also add that little bit of glamour.

One of my favourite jackets that I own is this black leather-look jacket from River Island. (It also has a detachable white faux fur collar!) I think the black jacket and black shoes really complete this look, although you could definitely mix up the colours in this outfit to adapt this look to your own style!

FEELING FLORAL...

The weather is finally starting to get a little warmer here in England, which means that summer is finally on its way - although, who knows how long the sunshine will last! This means making the most of the warm weather is a must, so today, I've opted for this floral playsuit from New Look.

I absolutely love the off-shoulder style of this playsuit, and it also has adjustable straps, for a perfect fit. It's often difficult to know what size to get with some playsuits, as non-adjustable straps make it more difficult for them to fit comfortably, without it being too restrictive, or falling down and becoming annoying. I found that sticking to my true size with this design gave me the best fit, enabling me to make suitable adjustments to the straps, without having to compromise on the length.

This playsuit, styled with an oversized hat and sunglasses, makes for the perfect summer look, that can be worn in so many different ways. It's not only a simple and stylish outfit, but it's super comfortable for pretty much any occasion! The fabric is really lightweight, which would be great for wearing at the beach with a pair of sandals, or dressing up with heels or boots, for a slightly edgier look.
