WHITE LACE DRESS...

Welcome back to the third and final part of my collaboration with TOBI - you can catch up with the first and second posts here, if you haven't already!

This last dress that I chose might just be my favourite of them all, as the gorgeous white lace design looks so elegant and stylish, and perfect for an evening out. Every part of this dress is beautiful, from the thin and adjustable straps, to the stunning open back. It's honestly like nothing else I own, and I'm seriously in love with it. The halter neck design looks so classy with the thin straps and open back, as it gives this dress that something special, without being too in your face - it just works perfectly. I don't own many open back dresses, but after wearing this one, they are definitely something I would look to purchase in the future. It has definitely helped with my own confidence with wearing things I wouldn't normally choose to wear, which in itself is an important part to take from this collaboration.

Just like the other two dresses in the previous posts here and here, this dress also has adjustable straps. This seems to be a common trend with TOBI, and I wish more brands would include this feature in their dresses! I was able to adjust the way this dress fit me, which meant that it looked and felt a lot better, and therefore helped me to feel more confident. It was actually nice to be able to wear a dress with straps, and not have to keep pulling them up every few seconds - we've all been there!

This dress first caught my eye with its stunning white lace and trim detailing. The pattern and design is contemporary and classy, without looking like you're wearing a net curtain! Every detail is intricate, and I just love the overall design. I chose to wear this white lace bodycon dress with a pair of nude barely there heels, as I think the two look incredible together, and I love how this look gives an effortless, yet chic vibe. I also added a pair of gold sunglasses and a pink, purple and white handbag, to complete the stylish and classic look. You could also pair this dress with a clutch bag, which would look ideal for a night out.

I just want to say a massive thank you to TOBI, for allowing me to collaborate with them on these posts, with their seriously gorgeous dresses! I hope you all enjoyed them, and I cannot wait to get back into posting more regularly on here again.

LITTLE BLACK DRESS...

Following on from my three-post collaboration with TOBI, I’m so excited to share with you the second part, featuring this gorgeous little black dress. If you haven’t seen the stunning lace-up bodycon dress from the first post, you can check it out here!

One of the most iconic wardrobe staples is the little black dress, which is why I had to choose this one. If there’s one dress every woman should own, it’s the LBD. I own a couple of black dresses, but both designs are not as simplistic as this one, which is why this one caught my eye. The square neckline is such a popular trend in the fashion world right now, and I can see why! It gives such a flattering look across the chest, especially if you’re like me and have a smaller bust. I put this dress on and instantly felt sassy and confident, which is ultimately down to the style and fit of this dress. The soft and stretchy fabric hugs your curves in all the right places, and it gives such a flattering look. Who wouldn't want that?!

I was a little unsure when choosing this dress, as I know that these kind of dresses can often be quite thin and see-through. I'm sure I'm not the only one to have bought something online, and it looked completely different in person, right? Thankfully, this was most definitely not the case with this dress, or with this brand. I was honestly shocked by the quality of their dresses. This material is thick, which means you don't have to worry about it being see-through. Another thing I love about this little black dress is the chic, thin straps, which can also be adjusted - just like the dress in this post. They're slightly different in the way they can be adjusted, but they're quite discreet, and I think it's such a great feature. There have been many times I've gone to buy a dress that fit me in the body and length, but the straps were too long, and couldn't be adjusted. It's such a simple feature, but it's a really important one, and could be the difference between purchasing a dress or not.

The little black dress is such a timeless, classic look, which can be worn day or night. It’s not only one of the most versatile items of clothing you could own, but you can wear any of your favourite accessories with it, and know that it will look amazing. As this dress is basic and simplistic in design (which I LOVE), I decided to style it with a denim jacket and grey lace-up heels. The denim jacket looks so good with this style of midi dress, as it keeps the look quite casual, yet the heels add that touch of glam – without being too over the top. I wanted to keep the colours in this outfit quite minimal, not taking too much away from the gorgeous black dress.

This is the second of three posts in collaboration with TOBI, so stay tuned to my blog this week to see the last stunning dress. You can see the first one here. The final post will be up on Friday. See you then!

LACED UP IN BODYCON...

One of my favourite things about blogging is being able to work with some amazing brands from all over the world, and learning about new brands that I hadn't come across before. This was the case with this post, and the next couple of posts that will be up on my blog throughout the week. I was recently contacted by TOBI, and asked if I'd like to collaborate with them on a few posts. Now, I get quite a few of these emails from various different brands, and I turn most of them down for not fitting with the theme of my blog, or if I simply just don't want to associate myself with them. However, even though I hadn't heard of TOBI before, I was instantly hooked on their website, and their gorgeous clothes - especially their dresses!

This first dress that I chose initially caught my eye because of the beautiful rose colour, and the figure-flattering bodycon style. It fits me really well, and the sizing, I found, is very true to size. As they are an American brand, based in LA (not jealous at all), I was a little unsure on how the sizing of their dresses would fit me, but I was pleasantly surprised. They do have a size guide on their website, which is what I used to determine which size I would need. I found this to be really useful - especially as they have a detailed size chart with a UK equivalent, and I have to say that it's pretty accurate. I was impressed!

One of the main things I love about this dress is the design at the back, with the lace-up back and thin, adjustable straps. The halterneck design enables you to adjust the straps to fit you and your body, allowing the dress to fit you in the most flattering way. It was a little tricky at first to thread the elasticated straps through the little holes in the back of the dress, but I was able to do this by looking at the photo on the website, and from there it was quite easy to do. I also only had to thread them once, and I was able to put the dress on over my head, and pull it down to fit. I then pulled the small zip up, and I was able (just about) to tie the straps up at the back, but you could, of course, get someone to help you if you're not able to do it yourself.

When it came to styling this dress with a pair of shoes, I had quite a few different options. This bodycon dress could easily be worn with a pair of strappy heels, but I chose to style it with a pair of peep-toe baby pink heels, with a stylish cut-out design, and suedette finish. I think the colours of the dress and heels look great alongside each other, as they're slightly different in colour - the dress is more of a rose pink colour, and the heels are more of a baby pink/nude, but they look great together, as the two different colours don't take too much away from the detailing in either part of the outfit.

This is the first of three posts in collaboration with TOBI, so stay tuned to my blog this week to see the other two gorgeous dresses. The next post will be up on Wednesday, and the final post will be up on Friday. See you then!
