Hi everyone! I thought I’d sit down and write this post to give you all a little update as to why I haven’t been blogging much recently, but also talk about my future blogging goals...

When I started this blog back in April last year, I wasn’t entirely sure on how the whole blogging thing worked, but since then, I’ve had so many ideas for how I want my blog to look - from the quality of my photos, to the actual writing, but it seemed like everything I tried didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to, which frustrated me so much. I recently invested in the Olympus PEN E-PL8 and the 45mm lens, and I'm still learning how to get the best out of this camera - any tips are welcome! Although my photography is starting to improve, I've recently felt a bit lost on what to write about. I used to write a bit about my outfits, and that was it, but as a reader of blogs as well, I know there is so much more I could be writing about. I’m currently brainstorming ideas, but if you have anything you’d like to see me cover on my blog, then please let me know! As some of you may know, I travelled to New York in October, and I have so many amazing photos from that trip, but I wasn’t sure if you’d like to see any blog posts about that trip? (I need to stop doubting myself, I know.) If anyone is interested, I can create some travel-based content about New York...

I guess you could say I took a little break from my blog to focus on my YouTube channel for a while, and as much as I love being creative on both platforms, YouTube is by far one of the most difficult platforms to grow on. I’ve found myself in a rut, as I’d be spending hours on each video - from planning, filming, editing, uploading and promoting, for it to not do very well. And by that I mean, it may get around 50-100 views in a week - sometimes, if that. It’s not all about the views, but when you put so much time and effort into creating content for barely anyone to see it, it’s so disheartening, and it makes the next video even more difficult to create. I’m proud of my videos, and that’s the main thing, but I do feel a little bit guilty for not blogging as much, to focus on YouTube.

Along with brainstorming blog topics and video ideas, I’ve thought about starting a schedule, to use from 2018. I want a schedule so that I can see exactly when I’m doing what - like when I’m going to take blog photos, or when I’m going to write a new post, or film/edit a video, and I can use this to post more regularly. I think if I felt more organised, hopefully you will have more of an idea of when to expect a new blog post or video. If anyone currently works from a schedule, please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts on it, and if you find that it helps you. Also, if anyone has any tips on how to start a schedule, that would be appreciated - either online, in a planner, etc. Even just writing this post feels long overdue, but I already feel better after letting you all know what’s been going on, and how I’m going to improve. I’m also thinking about having a new blog theme for the new year, and change up my design a little. Even something like this can spark a whole load of imagination for me, which makes me excited for what’s to come...

Lastly, I’d just like to thank you all for reading this, and still being supportive over a year and a half later, even though I haven’t been creating as much content as I’d like to, BUT I’m excited for that to change, and finally start posting more regularly. On that note, I’m very excited to say that I’m flying to Salzburg, Austria tomorrow! (Not so excited about the 7:15am flight.. 😴) I’ve never been to Austria before, so I’m really looking forward to visiting, and see all of the Christmas markets they have this time of year! I’m thinking of creating some content about this trip to Salzburg, so let me know if this is something you’d like to see, and I will get it up on my blog very soon.

Thank you all again, and I can’t wait to start afresh on my blog, and I'm so motivated for what's to come in 2018!

Autumn is well and truly underway, so I'm a little late in posting this autumn wish list, but it's never too late to shop some of my favourite pieces from this season. I'm definitely not a cold weather person, but I do love this season for the autumn fashion. The big coats and snuggly jumpers are very much my sort of thing, and not to mention the thigh-high boot trend! That trend seems to come around each year, and still look as amazing as the year before. The fashion is definitely my favourite part about autumn, and putting together this wish list was super fun and easy, as there are SO many gorgeous pieces out there at the moment. A lot of brands have also really stepped up their game recently, which is great to see!

As it's getting colder outside, I decided to include a few warm coats, which are a must-have for this time of year - especially with winter coming up! Puffer jackets are huge right now (literally), and they look really warm, so I had to add one to my wish list, along with fluffy teddy bear coats. They are definitely at the top of my wish list, along with a mustard jumper - they just scream autumn! Fluffy jumpers are a definite favourite of mine, so I added quite a few that I'm loving at the moment, as well as some ripped jeans and boots.

The following items are from some of my favourite sites, including: Missguided, Topshop, Pretty Little Thing and Public Desire
Have you bought anything this autumn that you've been loving, or have you seen anything on this wish list that you'd want to buy? As much as I love creating these wish lists, my bank account certainly doesn't, because I literally want everything on this list, and probably a lot more as well..!

Welcome back to the third and final part of my collaboration with TOBI - you can catch up with the first and second posts here, if you haven't already!

This last dress that I chose might just be my favourite of them all, as the gorgeous white lace design looks so elegant and stylish, and perfect for an evening out. Every part of this dress is beautiful, from the thin and adjustable straps, to the stunning open back. It's honestly like nothing else I own, and I'm seriously in love with it. The halter neck design looks so classy with the thin straps and open back, as it gives this dress that something special, without being too in your face - it just works perfectly. I don't own many open back dresses, but after wearing this one, they are definitely something I would look to purchase in the future. It has definitely helped with my own confidence with wearing things I wouldn't normally choose to wear, which in itself is an important part to take from this collaboration.

Just like the other two dresses in the previous posts here and here, this dress also has adjustable straps. This seems to be a common trend with TOBI, and I wish more brands would include this feature in their dresses! I was able to adjust the way this dress fit me, which meant that it looked and felt a lot better, and therefore helped me to feel more confident. It was actually nice to be able to wear a dress with straps, and not have to keep pulling them up every few seconds - we've all been there!

This dress first caught my eye with its stunning white lace and trim detailing. The pattern and design is contemporary and classy, without looking like you're wearing a net curtain! Every detail is intricate, and I just love the overall design. I chose to wear this white lace bodycon dress with a pair of nude barely there heels, as I think the two look incredible together, and I love how this look gives an effortless, yet chic vibe. I also added a pair of gold sunglasses and a pink, purple and white handbag, to complete the stylish and classic look. You could also pair this dress with a clutch bag, which would look ideal for a night out.

I just want to say a massive thank you to TOBI, for allowing me to collaborate with them on these posts, with their seriously gorgeous dresses! I hope you all enjoyed them, and I cannot wait to get back into posting more regularly on here again.
